After some research settled on the Ramped up XL aluminium dog ramp.
For a large Golden Retriever anything to thin, unsteady or short wouldn't work.
The 2m length is great off the tailgate of the ute with an incline that is manageable. It is wide enough to walk up and down without slipping off the side. The surface gives lots of grip and my dog has no issues with it.
It has a nice lip on the end that sits nicely on the tailgate and a tapered end for the ground. Well manufactured and detailed. It folds in the middle and can sit across the back of the tub. A few practice goes with some treats and my dog now happily goes up and down. Couldn't be happier . Thank you..

I haven’t used them yet. But they seem to be very well made. And will be fit for purpose. Very happy with my purchase.
My only criticism is that the tracking app doesn’t work well.

While I haven't had a chance to actually use the ramps because of all the wet weather we've been having, they are exactly what I was looking for. Because they are hinged, they are easy to handle and store. There is a slight curve in the top half, which will stop the mower deck from scraping as the ride-on transfers to the trailer. They seem to be very well made and come with bonus straps to remind the user to secure the ramps to the trailer. Incidentally, delivery was very prompt and they were well packaged. Excellent choice!

Bought for our bull mastiff to get in and out of the back of our Patrol! Have bought cheaper ramps in the past and he refused to use them! Took me no longer than a minute to convince him on this one and he goes up and down it no dramas!
